Get to know us better

What are your general working hours?

Our business hours are Monday to Friday 8.30am-5.00pm, with a shorter finish on a Friday of 4:00pm. We also have a flexitime schedule with core hours between  10:00am to 3:30pm — if you want, you can start and finish work later.

What’s your working policy?

We want you to have a healthy work-life balance, so we have an agile working policy. You can work up to 40% of your working week from home and the rest in our Jesmond or Chester le Street offices.

How do you help people develop their careers?

We work with new starters to get you up to speed on the company, and in your first few months you’ll have a “buddy” to answer your questions. When you’ve passed probation, you’ll get a training plan to help you gain skills, and you can review this with your manager at your annual appraisal or in meetings throughout the year.

What type of culture do you encourage?

We have a growth mindset as a company, and expect all our team members to be ambitious and motivated to be the best you can be. Be resilient and do the right thing even when it’s difficult. And we encourage everyone to be a team player, and spot opportunities to develop our company’s business, and the businesses of our clients.

What social events do you run?

Our social committee and culture club do a great job encouraging everyone to get together at social activities. From drinks, bowling trips and parties to our running club, crazy golf and snooker nights, we’re up for having fun as a team.

What accessibility support do you give?

We conduct regular surveys to better understand what our team needs. We give company training and access to resources around a variety of topics, including neurodiversity and how we help people with different needs. We have wheelchair access to both our offices and can offer ground floor office space to those who need it.
