Generally, a HR Manager looks after the employees at a company.
A HR manager should embody the company’s values, and make sure they’re reflected in everything from job descriptions to how a company engages with employees every day. We help make team members feel seen and heard, and get them involved in decision making.
Things we deal with day-to-day can include: payroll, recruitment, learning and development, and employee engagement. We also make sure the company follows the law, and help create policies to keep employees safe and happy — everything from health and safety rules, to benefits and performance reviews.
HR also plays a role in workplace diversity. Rather than paying “lip service” to diversity, equality and inclusion (DE&I), we help create programmes to improve recruitment and the experience of all employees.
